The event is a full on cultural festival, featuring live cultural performances from traditional dances to live music that enrich the atmosphere of unity and diversity. For the younger attendees, a large Kids Corner is usually set up with fun activities to keep them entertained.

All proceeds raised by the participating embassies and organizations are channeled through the DSGE's "Project Matrix" to support local charities and NGOs in Ethiopia.
