Ethiopian singer and songwriter Mastewal Eyayu, known for his tender voice and deeply emotional lyrics, is stepping into the spotlight with his first major solo concert on November 19, 2025, at Millennium Hall, organized by BT Creative Events Addis.

The performance follows the success of his debut album Enzira, released on February 9, 2024. The record introduced Mastewal as a thoughtful artist whose music feels both timeless and fresh, blending traditional Ethiopian melodies with modern arrangements.

Mastewal’s songs are not built on volume or spectacle  they’re soft-spoken, intimate, and full of quiet feeling. With tracks like “Bemen Kal,” “Gubeleye,” and “Emetalehu, he has built a loyal audience that finds comfort in his calm tone and poetic storytelling. His music captures small, personal moments the ache of missing someone, the beauty of connection, the honesty of love unspoken.

Listeners often say his songs sound like conversations with the heart  sincere, simple, and deeply human. That rare emotional clarity has helped him stand out in a scene often driven by trends and rhythm-first hits.

The making of Enzira was years in the works. Rather than rushing to release, Mastewal took his time, crafting an album that feels cohesive and mature. The result is a body of work that flows gently, carrying influences from both classic Ethiopian sounds and contemporary music styles.

Critics have described Enzira as an album that “breathes” one that values silence as much as melody. It reflects Mastewal’s patient, grounded approach to artistry.

The upcoming Mastewal Concert promises to be a turning point. Fans will finally experience Enzira performed live, backed by a full band and special guest appearances. For Mastewal, it’s more than a show it’s a chance to connect face-to-face with the people his songs have quietly moved.
