Just a few weeks after Cristiano Ronaldo publicly shared his desire to meet with President Donald Trump, the international football superstar got his wish, attending a high-profile dinner at the White House.

The celebrated athlete was an honored guest at the massive black-tie event, which was also attended by the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, solidifying the star's central role in the world's highest circles of power and influence.

Ronaldo's highly anticipated appearance was the talk of the evening. President Trump himself shone a spotlight on the football legend, warmly welcoming him and sharing a relatable father-son moment. Trump joked that arranging the meeting would finally earn him some much needed respect from his teenage son, Barron, a "big fan" of the five time Ballon d'Or winner.

The two global figures were later captured in a viral White House video sharing a jovial walk down a corridor, with the clip playfully captioned "Two GOATs" (Greatest Of All Time), cementing the moment in social media history. Ronaldo's visit, which came about after his recent comments admiring the President, proves that when a star of his magnitude sets his sights on something, it tends to happen.
