Addis Ababa is getting ready for a night of rhythm, fusion, and cultural exchange as the UK-Ethio Music event hits the stage on November 8, 2025. Set to take place at The Venue Warehouse in Jackros, the show promises an evening where British and Ethiopian sounds blend in one lively celebration. Doors open at 3:00 p.m.

The concert features The Sassenachs, a UK band known for bringing a modern twist to traditional tunes. Sharing the stage will be Ethiopia’s own Teref Kassahun, widely known as Kiya, bringing her unique voice and stage energy. The theme “One Stage, Two Cultures, Endless Vibes” captures the spirit of the night no competition, just collaboration.

To keep the momentum going, DJs Black and Youbel will be spinning sets throughout the event, while MC Milu takes on hosting duties. Expect a mix of genres, from folk influences to contemporary beats, echoing both London streets and Addis rhythms.

Events like this don’t come around often where you can hear a Scottish-inspired melody flow into Ethiopian melodies without skipping a beat. It’s less about polished performances and more about shared moments, live music, and the crowd soaking in something fresh.

With artists from two different worlds coming together, the UK-Ethio Music night might be one of the most interesting cultural mash-ups of the season. If you’re in Addis and looking for something beyond the usual weekend routine, this is worth checking out.
